A photo-tour of Blackfen parish.
Blackfen is just to the South of the old Dover Road between Shooters Hill and the Bexley Heath. In the mid-1930s, the Ideal Homes project was responsible for most of the houses and roads that now make up Blackfen. It was at that time that Fr Clifford Nevatt purchased the plot of land on which the Church, presbytery and halls now stand.
Politically, Blackfen is in the London Borough of Bexley but the postal address is "Sidcup, Kent".
